If it's a PAYE job and you're an Employee (rather than self employed) then the answer is no.

If you're self employed (sole trader/Ltd Company) and the role is outside IR35 then yes.

Would depend on the exact nature of the expense, even if PAYE certain non reimbursed expenses can still be deductible:
