Just reading about this in the news, should they be compensated because they didn’t understand…?

Wife says she knew nothing about it yet signed the agreement, final paragraph says a requirment of the bank that they had independent legal advice & a letter from their solicitor saying it had been fully explained…

Yeah but poor Steve's just realised his inheritance isnt what he thought it was going to be.

I still come across clients who bought a property a few years ago which a shared equity HTB loan, and when they come to pay it off they say they didn't know the value of the loan increased with the value of the property........
