Throttle Pot Question

The bible shows that the TP can be set up by moving it in the slots where the screws fit and measuring voltages etc

On my 450 there is no slots for adjustment - is this correct - is this a later fitting - does anyone know the part number please. Its a year 2000

The one on my '98 450 was not adjustable, if it's any help..replaced with (adjustable) after market one.

Thanks - did you get one through a motor factor ?

I have got my 450 running really well (see LUMPY 450 thread - now much smoother) but I was going to check the voltage settings

Tower View supplied and fitted, when my original non -adjustable TVR item went west, causing, er, 'exciting' throttle response !! They'd be the people to talk to.

Mine was non-adjustable until I had at it with a file, five minutes later et voila one adjustable throttle pot ...

I did the same. IIRC I set the voltage at idle to 0.34 volts.
