Interactive Investor- SIPP Pension Dealing Acount (Closing)
Discussion
I have a "Pension Dealing Account" with Interactive Investor but they are closing that offering and I need to move provider:

My SIPP is mainly property and handled by another provider and I was using the external Platform to invest rental revenue in Shares, etc.
Anyone up to speed on what alternative platforms might offer similar to what Interactive Investor are closing...most seem to want you to hold you entire SIPP with them but my situation is different.

Looks like you would be able to open an ii SIPP and transfer the securities currently held within your PDA straight across, if that sounds like it could work for you?
You can of course have as many SIPP accounts as you want, with any number of providers, and from an admin perspective if nothing else, it often makes sense to consolidate everything with one provider.

Thanks, that's the piece of the puzzle I might have been getting confused with. You can of course have as many SIPP accounts as you want, with any number of providers, and from an admin perspective if nothing else, it often makes sense to consolidate everything with one provider.
I'll have a chat with a contact I have tomorrow. I think my confusion comes from the fact my current SIPP was setup with a provider that specifically deals with commercial property for that purpose. The Pension Dealing Account was a bit of a fudge to get excess cash into a location where it can be traded.
Having Two SIPPS may work...although I read getting such low fees before...obviously why they're pulling it LOL
