Aircon induced power loss?
Discussion
I've done a quick search about this and have found a few related threads with respect to the aircon affecting idle speed etc, but has anyone else ever noticed a marginal increase/decrease in power when driving as the aircon clicks off/on? At times, mine almost feels the same as a very light application/release of the brakes!
I am of course very new to the car and am tending to notice every unusual characteristic, but coupled with my previous question about aircon noise, I am increasingly concerned that I may have a minor problem with my aircon pump or compressor?

You absolutly notice it on track - it's quite marked difference aircon on/off.
Remember that the Noble has very little (read bugger all
) sound proofing between the engine and cockpit. You'll therefore notice every little noise until your brain gets reprogrammed as to what's normal.

It might be worth getting the gas checked. If it's down it will be working harder to get the compression.
I had mine done recently and it's a revelation !
it used to take a few minutes to cool down but now it's pretty much ice cold in seconds !
