Here's one I put together a few weeks ago, I did find a very simialr but had to change some of the wording otherwise th PH mods would have deleted it,

Found this thread when searching for a ‘cartoonist’, my requirements aren’t quite as ‘blue’ as the OP’s.

I require a cartoon reproducing that a friend of mine had on a sticker which he used to distribute to customers. Unfortunately the company has been wound up, and my friend doesn’t have any of the stickers left (though he has given me permission to have this reproduced if possible).

The illustration required features 2 cars from side-on, is of a sort of 1950/60s style, and I need it reproducing as accurately as possible. I have tried various avenues including Etsy and LinkedIn without much joy, does anybody on here know of anyone capable of doing the work? Unfortunately the only copy of the sticker I have is a cropped and pixelated photo which will probably make things massively more difficult..

Just post the picture however bad, I might be able to put to something together that coveys the same message, can't promise anything.

If you don’t get any joy, let me know, I could ask a few car designer colleagues if they could help. This would be simple for them being line work and block colour. Thing is, I suspect they’d want to charge.

Hi Pritch, thanks for your response - to be honest I wouldn't mind paying to get the job done right, it's just been a case thus far of trying to find someone that would be able to recreate the sticker accurately. It's not exactly Constable's Haywain in terms of complexity, but the majority of people I have contacted have been wanting to use stock images that don't recreate the sticker all that faithfully.

If you would be able to ask someone with the necessary skills on my behalf I would be eternally grateful and happy to send some beers your way, no problem if not

I shot Graham an email and got a response from Jill, unfortunately it sounds like Graham is not currently in the best of health Hopefully the chap manages to get back on his feet in the near future, I sent my best wishes across to them both.

They specialise in stickers and do custom work. No idea how much they’d charge though.

He had a bit of a health scare earlier in the year, but seemingly recovered well. It was his birthday last week - I wonder if he just over-did it.
I've known him since I was 7 years old - and he was my best man when I got married. His earthy sense of humor is remarkable.
