Price advice on 996 Turbo
Discussion
I think they have to start to level out soon as mine is a 2001 and I have been offered over £50k for it with 40k plus miles on it and no sat nav. All depends what you want and generally you get what you pay for - some warrentys are rubbish so you could pay a bit more and get peace of mind.
The used car market seems to be rubbish at the moment with the same cars for sale for ages. Once the new turbo is out I would imagine the 996 TT 's will find a price then hold around there but who knows.
I would spend a bit more and get one with an X50 pack on if I was you as they seem to be holding their money better.

Its also the most expensive option on the list for the car, and any option that adds £8k or so to the cost of the car new is going to help / make it more desirable come resale.
Also remember that there are lots of turbo's for sale at the moment, but not many have the x50 option, so its bound to help these cars.

Ok I can see I've put the cat amongst the pigeons here and I feel slightly guilty for scaring some of you.....Please accept my opologies......Here goes.
Bad bits (possibly)
The car is an import albeit a C16 spec... (not so sure whether being and import holds as much stigma as it once did)
It has had 3 owners (Last owner did 100 miles in the yr that he owned it)
Scatch on front wing
Wheels kerbed
No Sat Nav
Good bits:
It is a genuine 13000 mile car with full history.
No previous accident or local repair/paintwork
Disirable colour (Seal Grey/Black...not my favourite)
All said it still reepresents stonking value....
