Liam Gallagher tours "Definitely Maybe"
Discussion
I guess I can't blame him. 30yrs is a big anniversary and there's a huge amount of love for that record, this will sell out in minutes.
I've long maintained that Noel was just holding out on the 'No' to an Oasis reunion until a promoter came along and offered a sufficiently large lorry load of cash that it was impossible to say no.
You would have thought this might be the time but evidently not. Maybe Noel has decided that just being very rich is fine enough and he doesn't need to be filthy rich so can stand by him principles. It's a shame, but personally having a brother who is a total nightmare I can understand NG's position on this, so that's that.
I'm holding out for Liam being a Glastonbury headliner but if not will try to pick up an O2 ticket closer to the time. I saw him when he played Reading a few years back, his solo stuff was weak but the Oasis stuff was absolutely brilliant. Sadly nobody really cares that it's not Noel up there playing it.

That's the reality of the situation isn't it. Noel may have written all the songs, but people only want Liam singing them.Must really piss him off that they are his songs but from a performing point of view they are useless to him.
An album I still listen to regularly from the day it was released, massive Oasis fan but personally I'd have preferred the 30 year tour to have included Noel. I'm unsure whether to try and get tickets for it, I saw them at Wembley in 2000 and I can't see anything living up to how amazing that was.
