I'm thinking of making the trip on Sunday. Is it worth it? How much are they going to want on the door?

Better bet and better show is Geneva in March. OK, there's a flight involved, but the cheapo operators fly there, the Palexpo is right next to the airport, it's less dosh than Brum to get in, and you get to see all the concept cars that never come to the UK. Plus being a Brit, the Swiss think you've got cash and let you on to the Aston, Bentley, etc. stands without question.

It's a reasonable show this year. I'd say it's worth going. Pricing at www.motorshow.co.uk . Don't think it's too expensive.

Definitely worth going for the totty if nothing else! Seriously though the Bentley GT, Spyker, Nobles and the new TVR (well done ) are worth the admission.

Don't bother! I went round and round on Press Day thinking I must have missed something. Apart from the MG SV, and the TVR (which you will be able to get closer to at a dealers shortly) it was, well, bland and boring. Even Ford were on ONE level - unheard of. Worst show I have attended in years - some old London Motor Fairs were better than this.
BORING. More excitement at an autojumble.

The Birmingham show organisers are trying to bring the 2004 event forward into May to make it 'A' grade, hopefully allowing more new models to launched as most of the big manufacturers release cars in the earily part of the year so they can have their latest offerings at more shows, B'ham to me was nothing that special, being the last leg of the european motorshow tours, do like the way they organised one lane of the motorway to be closed down for roadworks right up to the NEC ... couldn't of timed it better
