I don’t have a deposit down but had a test drive a few weeks back. At the time the Aston driver who took me out rather than the salesman said it was 7 months in the UK currently if you ordered now. He said they were getting a lot of new deposits from the test drives so expected the waiting time to peak at around 12 months (that may have been get your order in quick sales spin).

Thanks, out of interest what was your impression of the car? Is a marked move on the from the DB11?On the present basis, only insiders will ever know the DB 12 sales figures.
What tends to be published;
1. UK - New DB12 Registrations. Published quarterly, but often considerably delayed.
2. AML Accounting Reports. Sales (to dealers) numbers are published, but split Sports/GT/SUV, so DB12 and DBS will be combined.
3. After a model has been discontinued, Aston Martin Heritage Trust usually know the total production number.
I know the OP is mainly asking about current delivery wait times, but thought the above might be of interest.
I heard June/July delivery, but that was about a month or two back.
Given what I heard happened this week in the factory though we might see wait times increase (possibly depending on outcome recalls as well). I still think AM are sorting the flaws out in the newer models.

It’s 18 months since I switched the DB11 for a DBX so hard to make a side by side comparison but my general feeling was a step forward. Interior was a big step forward and the seats were exceptional. Felt very planted on the road. Brake feel was better but the one I drove had the optional ceramics so not sure about the standard steels. Plenty of power and very responsive engine but sound down on the V12 DB11 I had even with the exhaust valves open all the time. Due to traffic didn’t get to really push it but overall it was very impressive. Miami_v said:
Thanks, I imagine given the positive press sales would be strong. Lead times sound a lot better than Turbo S/Roma (18 months)
Will be interesting to see how it sells longer term.
I hope it does sell well, but the current interest rate/economic environment won't help (any manufacturers). Will be interesting to see how it sells longer term.
Over £30k charge for credit and exposure to a near 50% fall in value over three years/18k miles if values don't hold up.

Ouch! That deposit is only 2k less than my first V8 Vantage. At the time of purchase the Vantage was 2 years old with 18,000 miles.Over £30k charge for credit and exposure to a near 50% fall in value over three years/18k miles if values don't hold up.

You’d hope the buy back price looks doable on PCP otherwise you’re going to be in for a chunk.

Yes, certainly difficult economic times at present and at about £200,000, must be categorised as a fairly high price motor car.
However no worries, "All sold out", said (the low profie) Mr Felisa.
He did not clarify, whether that is all of the entire production run, or just the first batch.
If Dick Lovatt are advertising DB12s, we conclude there must be some which are not 'all sold out'.
The figures shown in the finance example might be on the low side, because they are in respect of a car without options.
Have Aston Martin ever built a car without options? -

I hope the Vantage will get the same make over soon, although the spy shots indicate they leave the rear the same and that is a mistake IMO. But others seem to like the rear so with the same update concept as the DB/11/12 the new Vantage will be a great car and should sell better. Same goes for the DBX btw, als the rear is holding back sales IMO.
Completely agree that back end just doesn't sit well on the DBX or the Vantage.
Seems at odds with the rest of the design language.
DB12 is a step on and in black on the configurator you can seem to disguise it better, although without proper pricing i'm not sure what my spec will actually cost!
Will be interesting to see what overs, if any? they will trade for on the secondary market once people like Romans/Redline/TH etc get their hands on them.

I'd argue the rear of the DBX and current Vantage are their best features. The mazda front end of the Vantage isn't good and the front end of the DBX is a little too Ford Kuga in places. I say that as a DBX owner and having had a new Vantage on loan for a little while. Seems at odds with the rest of the design language.

Why would there be overs? It's not limited production, and lead times aren't exactly long from what a couple of early posts suggested. The market is quite different to a year ago.
I'd expect anyone with a trade in will have their pants pulled down, finance is expensive, and many able to just write a cheque will likely have at least one eye on the cost of capital and/or likely residual values (the GFMV on that finance illustration is so low suggests that AM aren't confident in residuals to offer a higher GFMV).
It'd be a brave person who bought one expecting to make a profit on it/run it at no cost.

I was chatting to someone at a dealership on Saturday, with both of us looking at the F1 Roadster in front of us whilst enjoying a cuppa.“One of the last as orders now stopped ahead of the December launch of the updated Vantage”, was a comment made.
He didn’t work there, but I sensed was in the know.
Chatting away, he suggested the DB12 front end and in car tech (not surprisingly). I handn’t put two and two together, but the enlarged grill is part of the over all design to accommodate a more normal (easier to manufacture) bonnet arrangement. So the front will have less a slope to it.
The GT3 testing pics give a feel for that.

My guess is that, Aston Martin flipping and overs are over.
Reason - the last significant model, the limited edition V12 Vantage, resulted in 'burnt fingers' for aspiring flippers.
I see there are still 6 on sale with Autotrader, apparently with reducing prices.
I think most of us take, "All sold out" with condiments, so I am sure a serious buyer would want to specify their own new DB12,
not spend £200,000 on one already specced by somebody else.
