Hi all,

I’m thinking of upgrading my daily (BiTdi A7) and a model S seems to fit the bill - 4wd, insane acceleration, 5 doors, lots of tech and low running costs.

But…I am confused by all the variations!

With a max budget of £50k, I want the quick one but I am seeing ludicrous, ludicrous +, ludicrous insane, performance. Some are listed (on autotrader) as just over 600bhp, some 760bhp) some say the range is just over 309 miles, some say nearly 400. Then some mention Raven……..

Is there a definitive guide to which is which that is easy to understand so I don’t end up getting something that isn’t what it seems? Any specific specs I should be looking for?

I have a 2 seater convertible for weekends and fun (McLaren 650S), but I do like the idea of the ridiculous acceleration in a 5 seater daily!

Thanks in advance

I found this article, which seems quite good:

or the ubiquitous Wikipedia:
