I've just been reading one of the threads on P&P......
which went along these lines

"Sadly back to reality today as I did the weekly shop at Tescos. I saw the circa 40 year old woman, badly dressed, extreme badly applied makeup, ludicrous amount of unbelievable gold tat jewellery, several tattoos etc... She shouted some mono-syllabic grunt accross the aisle. I look and see what is clearly her daughter, a circa 13 year old miniature of her."

Which reminded me of a time I (and Mrs Drift') was shopping in one of the local big chain supermarkets.
A 'delightful' family were doing their shopping, not only noticable by the cupious amounts of swearing, but also the wift (or should I say stench) of B.O. as they passed by.
When it came to queing at the till time, we decided not to queue behind this particular family, but choose the next till. Entertainment for the next few minute was provided by the 'delightful ones' by Mother swearing her head off at one of the children, hitting him round the head, kid swearing back at the parents, Father getting sworn at by Mother, then to top it all, Mother takes daughter to one side and proceeds to inspect said daughter's head and act in a way that I could only presume she was picking nits out of her daughters head.

I don't know if its just my luck to 'meet' people like these in my travels, or just lucky to observe Human Behaviour in these ways. (Perhaps I'll keep the one about the Chav girl having a scratch in Plymouth for another day.)

Plymouth can be very irritating in fairness though.

I suffered (terribly) from Exeter for years, although the link to inhalers for relief from andover is well known

has changed!

No it hasn't. Weird!

They're allowed to breed so that good old chaps and chapettes like us can have something to rant about.
