some one without a rear numberplate
Discussion
so there is a person who has a car with no rear numberplate which has been like that for a month, would you report it? I would think going up to the chap would be a non no given the propensity for people to react to any form of comment with outright aggression.
I know its sounds like grassing someone up but what happens if they are involved in an accident a leave the scene etc etc.
Just interested in people's opinons

I'd say in all likelihood they're trying to reduce their cost of motoring, and you can't blame them for it. I'd leave well enough alone. It's already anarchy on the roads now there are no police, so screw it.
Actually it would be cool if someone organised a no numberplate day in protest about the amount of automatic stealth tax going on. He's probably got the right idea.

Bearing in mind he may also be un-insured, or disqualified, and if involved in for example a hit and run, speed off, I think I would let the Boys in blue know, wouldnt hurt would it? may save someones life. Maybe he doesnt even know its fell off?

I remember someone on PH saying their plate fell off and they're seeing how long it takes for someone to stop them for it.
This has happened to me, though I dont think it was me that said it.
Havnt had a front plate for about 6 months now (looks a lot better
) , and I used to worry passing the police but no-ones bothered about it so far. Id replace a rear plate though, its more blatant.Gassing Station | Speed, Plod & the Law | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
