Omega Seamaster 300 (not M)
Discussion
Does anyone on here own one?

I like the design, and the double layer dial, and I think I prefer it to the 300M looks wise. But some of the real life shots I've seen look really dull, unlike the press shots. Along with the dial, the hands and bracelet are also really nice.
Just wondered if anyone on here had one and what they thought of it?

I have one since December last year.
Really happy with it and I wear it all the time. It literally has not stopped since I bought it.
When resting crown down during the night, the accuracy has 0s/d deviation.
Great bracelet with good micro-adjust clasp that still manages to look compact and elegant.
Mix of polishing and brushing means it is quite versatile.
I am not sure about earlier comment about price? Unless this was about Omega these days in general - I think it went up in price twice since December.
I would however say that it is definitely worth the premium over 300 professional.

My take on it, just an opinion mind you.
The current price difference is 1100 pounds for the bracelet models - not insignificant.
300 heritage has a better movement (offset by previously mentioned lack of date to an extent perhaps).
The bracelet is great, I don’t think it is an Aqua Terra bracelet - not sure where that info comes from. Taper is different, clasp is different, thickness is different, 300 has fully articulating end links - does AT have them?
Ceramic - bezel only. 300 has some hardened aluminium which I can say from experience is super hard. My coin edge and inner steel ring are quite beat up in one area from close encounter with door frame, not a mark on the bezel. Plus it will not shatter so not sure if ceramic is better or more expensive to manufacture?
300 has fully lumed bezel (quite useless after 15 minutes mind you).
All of the above justifies in my view some price difference, probably less than 1100 though.
Overall, rest of the price is just how Omega places different lines.

I’ve had mine since 2015. I love it. Very versatile and, in my opinion elegant, watch that never looks out of place. The brushed and polished finished looks good. The texture of the dial is lovely and cutout markers give great depth. The metal bracelet is very comfortable and the micro adjust works very well for hotter summer weather. I’d certainly recommend trying one on if you’re interested!
