Hi folks,

I know WBAC isn't the place for accurate market data on enthusiast cars, but come on, their data must mean something. I've just run a reg for above car, coupe, 40,000 miles, 2015, PDK, and their figure was just £43,750!

Such cars have a current retail asking price at £68,000 to £72,000.

Any prospective buyers, of which I am one, need to mind the gap! smile

All thoughts welcome!

PS. I bought an as new FMDSH 2012 991.1 Carrera S Coupe with Sport Chrono, PSE, Carrera Classics etc with 21,000 miles from a VW dealer for £49,000 in Nov 2020. Granted lots of funny covid money about then, but interest rates not as they are now!

Spreads are ridiculous at the moment hence compounds full of 911s.
Not sustainable but equally not clear when there is going to be a reset as it’s a stand-off at the moment with no-one buying but no-one slashing prices either.

Ha, a standoff!

That's probably as good a way to put it as any!

All porsche prices have been overinflated for years.
Long overdue a massive correction

I don't think so on a GTS. Last NA GTS. Will always be desirable any indy would pay £60 to £65k for a nice GTS. If above 100k miles then yes you might be lucky and pick one up privately for £55k-£60k. Certain Porsches get to a level then do not really move from there. May well change if they bring out a NA 992 with a 4.0 or 4.2 wink

I'd say a wanted advert for the likes of the below car would life a car like this for £60,000 already. That's for a 40,000 mile car never mind 100,000 miles.

Im looking to sell mine to move up to GT3 and i can tell you that trade values in PX are low 60s. its currently a 70k car retail id think and the dealers are building margin as the market deflates.

Not far away then, for a private cash buyer, which is good news.

Retail margins have increased significantly due to slower stock turnover and higher dealer borrowing costs.

Noticed this, curiously asked an indy for a price of my 981 GTS and well, it was crazy how low it was. WBAC said it was £28k

Well that's a £10,000 spread, fair enough. However the 991 GTS spread is £25,000! This has just had £2,000 knocked off it. A long way to go I'd say https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202310102...
