Hi, I was wondering if anyone had a recommendation for a product to use to reattaching this seal to my car door? I was considering superglue but wasn’t sure if it would be too brittle?

Thank you

Not superglue, although it may work, if it does the rubber will rip off any time the seal might need legitimate removal. Better use contact adhesive, or good double sided tape. Always clean surfaces very scrupulously, finishing off with something that does not leave a residue.

Interesting. In effect, it is just a contact adhesive! Same method of use, same polychloroprene base. But notably with carbon black to look, well, black.

Used it on the build of my 56 F100. All I can say, is it was highly recommended after many people tried other solutions with poor results. Did my research, and it works a treat. Usefully, being black, it can be applied almost invisibly. Make of that as you will.
