Some people must think that mullets look good (despite them being an object of derision). But how? I was watching the Danish version of Bake Off and a contestant was sporting one. He was ginger and going bald so maybe it was a diversionary tactic.

I suppose every look is subjective but there are many fashions and styles that are not for me, but don’t look a bit silly.

Any current or former mulleters care to explain?

What styles or fashions make you scratch your head?

Does it matter? Too many people just look to take the opportunity to knock others for what they look like, wear or other superficial things.

Beyond the nature of someone’s character we should learn to be mature enough not to deride an individual choice.

Life is hard enough as it is for most people without others overtly critiquing an individuals choice. It’s akin to bullying a kid at school for not wearing the latest trainers.

Sliders don't make sense to me, sliders and socks leave me completely baffled.

But it's still October. Movember doesn't start until November. Surely you're aware of that?

For years I've been mocking my friend mercilessly about his Crocs. As much as they look ste they are brilliantly functional. Walk on the beach and sand isn't held in the shoe, walk in water and it drains out, when we get changed whilst caving it's easy for him to slip into a pair of crocs than struggle and balance with shoes. Much as I can see the exceptional function I've not ever told him that they are good.

So during Amazon Prime Day I bought a pair and they match my expectations. Still not told him and I suspect one day he'll catch me wearing them. But right up until that point I will still mock him for his Crocs. biggrin

Aren't mullets fashionable because some big rough arse French rugby player had one?

He's got the opportunity to do something really fantastic for the Bobby Charlton remembrance game at the weekend.
