Richard has organised a 'Loudest TVR' competition (with a prize) on Sunday. I will be bringing my trusty dB meter and testing the cars. Memories of PF04 and my poorly eardrums.

Anyway, It's exhaust level, 1 metre and 45 deg from rear of car as per the standard track test. There the similarities end. This is about how loud you can make your car, throttling up and down to get it to pop and bang.

Time to get the spanners out and remove those cats. I've got myself some ear protectors this time.

Good luck.

Well that's the target, 130.3 dB. As I remember my ears were ringing for an hour or two after that one.

If anyone needs an 'oficial' dB measure to find out how their cars would score against trackday regulations, just give me a shout.

We'll see. I'm betting on 98dB out of those cavernous exhausts.

might get 98 db out of the exhaust but guess whats inside and should be 140db.

Richard has organised a 'Loudest TVR' competition

It doesnt say it has to be outside.
and Chris cant afford a TVR

still not bad for a fiesta
