Have missed the last few Revivals but sorted out accommodation and booked for 2024.

Looked at the GW website just now, the ticket page, don't seem to be able to book the Woodcote grandstand, only the Chicane, and the same if I book in as a GRRC member.

Chicane is OK but I do prefer Woodcote.

So does the roving ticket include Woodcote?

I also see that many of the seats in Chicane are already booked.

So.. having now read that long thread of woe about GRRC membership, I see that members could buy tickets yesterday, so I guess that is why some Chicane seats have already gone, and I presume that Woodcote is now Membership only.

Well, I'm not a full member, just a Fellow, and I joined the Fellowship to get first dibs on tickets, but specifically Woodcote tickets so I'm also feeling a bit peeved.
Heyho.

Woodcote seems to be in the 'roving' ticket.
It looks like Chicane is bought seperately.

Roving says;
"Enjoy covered seating, unobstructed views of the racing and the ability to access all roving grandstands (Lavant Corner, Lavant Straight, Madgwick, Fordwater, Startline, Supershell, Woodcote and Chicane). "

But then again, Chicane says;
"Book to ensure the best views of the racing at the Chicane and also receive a Roving Grandstand pass on Saturday or Sunday."

Both look bookable as a Member at present.
It is all from the Goodwood Department of Confusing Writing.

Ahh, thankyou. I hadn't looked at the text in the Roving section. So you take your chance where you might be able to sit in the grandstands, other than part of Chicane where you can book a specific seat.

Well, I signed in and bought 3 day admission, roving for Friday and Sunday, and Chicane for Saturday, and pre-66 parking. I can't actually checkout until tomorrow which is when us lowly Fellows can buy tickets, I hope my basket is still there and I don't have to clunk my way through the whole process again.
At least it recognised me and applied the 10% discount, which is slightly more than the Fellowship sub.

Never mind! The sun will shine, it will once again be the best three days of the year.
