Thought I'd duck my head in and say hello as been stalking this forum for months, amongst other sites, researching Rapide/S.

After six months of looking I finally went ahead and bought an early model Rapide S in black with low 30s on the clock. How many chances am I going to get to own a V12 was my thinking.

First purchase for it was a CC Charger which has transformed the sound of it. Next will be paint correction and possibly a ceramic coating and maybe partial PPF on the front.

Well done, a very beautiful and somewhat under the radar car. I don’t know what a CC charger is but presume it’s something to keep the exhaust valve open. Remember the 1st rule, if no pic it didn’t happen…..

Haha, indeed. I don't know if it's because I'm new but the forum image upload isn't working for me. If there's forum-friendly upload site(s) let me know I'll post a pic.

And you're correct, the CC Charger is a small fuse module replacement with a remote that allows you to keep the valves opened from idle as opposed to only opening at 4,000 RPM. There's a model for all Astons although fitting varies. On a Rapide it's the fusebox under the rear n/s seat.

When you start a new thread, or reply to an existing one, above the text box are some hyperlinks - the one of the far right enables you to upload an image. This will open another small box that will allow you to browse for an image on your PC
