I haven’t seen a thread on this yet, has anyone been watching it?

I don’t live in a ball of cotton wool and have come across some scummy people in my life but these cities in and around Manchester are plagued by these types of OCG. Feral would be an understatement!

Tough work being a cop going after them. Gritty viewing as was previous series.

I would happily vote in a party who promised more police and prisons as well as harsher sentences

Definately ! me to.... i know a guy who's in the police, and he said that the morale is zero, they need more police to be able to cope, and as for the prisons, well thats a crazy situation, not enough staff, and not enough prisons to house these scummy criminals, the goverment seem to have done nothing....

All money they have earned or suspected to have earned should be taken off them before the scumbags get out of prison and then they should all be deported to Pakistan.

Feck me that's a tragedy what happened to that young lad.

About the only part of current policing that is improving is Confiscation and Proceeds of Crime Recovery.
Going after the assets, Imprisoning on default terms and forcing the sale of associated goods and property is slowly working.

As for the rest of the system, absolute chaos with zero rescources.

What made me think quite a bit was when the lead detective said they know who all the bosses of the OCGs are and have been following them for 10 years, not sure if it’s a resource thing but you’d like to think the police would be all over them like a cheap suit from day 1

Unless they have the evidence, then they run the risk of harassment. You only need to look at the claims of racial profiling in relation to stop and search to know that the Police are on an uphill struggle. It would be good to have an additional programme linked to this one giving the Crown Prosecutions Service's side to this story, as their decisions can appear mind-boggling at times in relation to organised crime groups, given how minor first time offenders in the rest of society seem to get the book thrown at them on occasions.

I do wonder how many people, normal everyday law abiding people including some on here (certainly on PH if you believe them) indulge in a bit of weed or coke? Because you are the enablers for these scum.

Don't click if you haven't seen it.

I could have laid money on that being the answer from the CPS.

I really do think that our country is in for tough times ahead, regarding law and order, it makes me sad and angry, i get fed up with moaning about it, but i think thats its got to such a point now where being a British citizen we are strangers in our own country, yes, i'm all for integration on this planet of ours, its been going on for years, but you must respect the country that your going to.... these scum dont have any respect whatsoever, imagine a Brit going to pretty much any country lets say in the middle east, ect ect and trying to enforce the British way of life, we'd get lynched and probably more... its mind boggling how our goverment / prison services are so lenient with these scum

I've been banned from this very forum many times for warning of the inevitable outcome of poor performance in policing and all levels of our justice system combined with the mistake that was enforced multiculturalism and an open door stance on immigration.
Many of my views are now repeated across mainstream news platforms and various forums....
I hate to say I told you so....it is here.

I honestly think that people will act soon, and there will be civil unrest on our streets, folks are getting tired of goverment lies (all partys guilty) and just generally fed up with what our UK is becoming, i hate to say this and never thought i would, but its gradually happening in front of our eyes, we cant let it all carry on.......but whats the answer ???
