Yep

For the car it is going onto!

It can be in either reg no though! if your cover note is over 3 months old they may ask you do get a more recent one but that depends on the jobsworth that serves you!

One other thing... if the plate is on retention you'll get it done after a lot of queuing if it is a transfer you'll do alot of waiting for your number to pop up and then you will be told to come back in 3 days time! rs....

I hate the DVLA....and the one in worcester even more!

And after you've coughed up the extra pennies to the DVLA for changing the reg, I expect your Insurance Broker/Company will slap a 'administration fee' on you as well.

BECAUSE THERE A BUNCH OF TO$$ERS

I had a customer who wanted to put the plate from his written off M5 on to his new M5....simple!!

God no!

It took 3 weeks and endless conversations to the DVLA and his insurance co (who's call centre was in India..that helped!!!) to convince them that they couldn't inspect his previous car as it was in a million pieces......but they wouldn't do the transfer untill they had "inspected the car the plate was currently assigned too"

YOU CAN'T

We can't do it then

YOU WILL IT's HIS NUMBER

not until we inspect the car

ARE YOU THICK..IT HAS BEEN WRITTEN OFF IT NOT BEEN SCRATCHED TW4T

and so on.........
