Looking for recommendations for a face mask... Over the last few months my asthma has been kicking my ass and my lungs are in a poor shape. What really doesn't help is when i'm working in the shed on the many bikes I have. Constantly spraying brake cleaner, paint and many other products plus grinding a lot of aluminium.
So really want a decent mask to protect whats left of my lungs whilst working in an enclosed space with the above chemicals

Really?
You have 3 options.
Don't do it.
Do it outside the shed.
Get a full set of proper face masks for each individual task. I say it like that because each of the tasks you mention will require a different mask.
The key is to read the information for each product/task & then go full nuclear on the best for each task & maintain them correctly.
Much easier to use option 1 or 2.

My chest is super sensitive the paint aerosol, the smallest amount can cause discomfort.
A few years ago a friend and I painted an audio tt in a small garage. We bought a pair of these. I could stand in the garage with the air thick with aerosol and was absolutely fine. The filters are interchangeable for different applications, some research will be required. We only used single pack paint not 2 pack.

Please research the correct filters you would need. I'm not an expert.

If spraying 2 pack the only option is an air fed mask. I'd not do it at home. A few years ago a friend and I painted an audio tt in a small garage. We bought a pair of these. Best bet is ventilation and dust extraction as others have said. Otherwise I'd be going for a FFP3 with filters either for mists or particulates depending on the job.
I use these, much lighter than the type with removable filters https://www.zoro.co.uk/shop/safety/reusable-respir...
There's a few variations so check the data sheet for whatever you buy
