trusts? are they worth it on estate of 350-400K

I believe there is not much you can do if she needs to go into care the local authority will get the cash one way or another.

Edit to say we did the trust thing about 20 years ago with my mum.

Updated the wills a few weeks ago and asked the Solicitor and the above is pretty much what they said.
