Keep meaning to buy one of these as a couple of months ago I had a flat battery as hadn't driven car for several days. Turns out I needed a new battery. Going away tomorrow and my car will be parked up for 9 days at the airport. Worried that I could come back to a flat battery so thinking to go and get one today or do I not really need to worry about it as i have just had a new battery. Is there a chance I could still end up with a flat battery?
This is the one I've seen https://www.eurocarparts.com/p/top-tech-3-in-1-jum...

Yes. Also available in Halfords for an easy walk in, no quibble warranty service IF needed. They’re the least likely to burn your house to the ground when charging too.

I've got one of the big ones similar to the one linked, but also have one of these:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B09T355327/ref...

It's not much bigger than an iphone and easily starts my 4.2 litre V8, as well as my wife's Kodiaq. I really wouldn't bother with one of those big ones.

Thanks for the recommendations. I'm more looking for advice about whether I need to rush out and buy one today as from tomorrow my car won't be driven for 9 days. Do I need to worry about a flat battery if it is a new one

How long is a piece of string? My neighbour bought a brand new Honda SUV hybrid thing. He does travel a lot. He bought a Noco after the thing kept flattening it’s battery whilst he was away.Last thing you need when you get off the plane. It wasn’t until the third time this happened, that Honda acknowledged an issue, and did some sort of software update to stop it.Better to have and not need, than vice versa in my book.

As others have mentioned Noco is what you want, we run a lot of plant equipment & it has not failed to start anything as of yet, most of our stuff is large diesel engines we have the Noco GB50 its an excellent bit of kit & looks very well made too.

It's started one of these, no problem.

The main reason why I'd buy a recognised brand.

I'm tempted with the one I sent the link for. I know it's a bit big and bulky but I like the fact that it has a tyre inflator too. It doesn't seem as powerful as the ones people have suggested am I going to regret it

To be honest the one you sent the link for, you will be throwing it in the bin inside 18 months, the batteries do not last on this type, as I already said I would put the money towards a Noco one

Possibly but again why risk the regret ?!
The Noco won’t inflate your tyres but that wasn’t your question.
It will start your car and it’s tiny in comparison to your linked one.
I got mine from Amazon after it being mentioned on here as Amazon were doing a half price offer but think it’s circa £ 100 normally.

I’d go for the GB40, especially as they have 10% off

Find someone with a trade card too

Yeah 1.4l engine. Tempted to get the cheap one and then return it when I get back from holiday. I can't get to halfords in time then I'll look to get a better one when I'm back from holiday
