Yep.

Along with the other colleague who sucks food out of his false teeth.

And wipes the spittle that collects at the sides of his mouth with a hanky. But only once every half an hour.

They're probably slirping it because it's too hot, try suggesting that they decants a little onto a saucer, blow on it to cool it and then sip it quietly from the saucer, problem solved

I slurp, but only when by myself as it seems to irritate other more pathetic people than myself . In some cultures its considered rude not to slurp unfortunately I dont seem to belong to one of them.

If i hear any slurping, chomping or open mouthed antics it is pi55 taking time,i dont do it and expect others around me to have manners, try getting a cuppa the same time as she does and slurp with her,if done in the right manner you will both end up

Something along those lines, yes. But not quite as hi-tech.

Any kind of noises wheen people are eating does my head in

I'm sure the problem is as much me being petty and small minded but I can't help being riled by somebody squelching, slurping and generally making a mess of their meal or snack.

It just shows a complete lack of manners and thought for those of us who can actually eat with some decorum

Sorry to go on about it but it really does get my goat!
