Gulf Coast Stop Off Recommendations

I’m planning a trip with work/pleasure returning from Atlanta to New Orleans but looking to tie in a couple of nights on the Gulf Coast.

Can anyone recommend good destinations and hotels? So far I have looked in Pensacola Beach, Destin and Biloxi.

Looking for somewhere with restaurants and shops, to do the regular suitcase filling before to flight back to the UK.
