As a fan of the f type, this would have been my perfect compromise. Unfortunately never entered production.

Sticking with Jaguar, I'd have liked to have seen the X-Type R go into production. They made some prototypes, but I suspect the X-Types chocolate teapot transfer box put paid to that idea.

Today, I really wish they would put the Ingenium-6 in the XF, which is crying out for a suitable powerplant.

In fact, I'd love for Jaguar to bear any resemblance to the manufacturer it was a decade or so ago.

Project Kimber. Back in 2006 a group who's bid for MG/Rover fell through bought the Smart Roadster tooling with the intention of making a new AC Ace/MG Midget based on it, with a 1.0 engine and manual gearbox. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_Kimber

Nothing happened and by 2008/9 it was gone.

The DB4 developed by Aston Martin in the way Porsche developed the 911.

Instead of going DB5, DB6, DBS and losing the original car along the way, the DB4 today would still display its roots.

Alfa Romeo Giulia Coupe. Even in Veloce form not full fat, would have been a lovely thing

Rover 75 Coupe. Always have had a liking for Rover cars (own two) and I prefer the Coupe form and the 75, judging by the photo's of the prototype, would've made a cracking looking car.

Sigh, every time this question gets asked I think about the time Alfa Romeo nearly got the MX5 re body job instead of Abarth.

We could have had this….

As someone who loves small pick up trucks - a replacement for the Jumbuck, Subaru M.V., Felicia etc. would be good.

And whilst I'm at it - higher spec' versions would be nice. Keep the basic, wipe clean interiors to keep them practical, as little tech' as possible, but with the performance options of the sportier siblings...
Our Jumbuck could've done with being more like this Evo spec' example...

And, similarly, our Scoob would've been livelier at the 330 brake spec' of a club members Impreza engined version...

Sadly, they won't sell, and aside from G.M.C.'s Syclone I struggle to come up with any successful examples...

The project 8 was a left hand drive only track focused special with only 300 made, the SVR would have been a M3 comp rival.

I'd like a 4 seater coupe/hatch a la Mazda RX8 but without the elephant that is the rotary engine. Sure the rotary was part of the USP, but the USP sent many RX8 to an early grave. A nice turbo four or V6 would be nice,.

Came to say similar, I'd just need a 4 seat convertible.

A modern, 3200/4200/GranSport replacement of a similar size.

IMO, Maserati missed a trick. The GranTourismo is just too big to be considered a continuation of the line.

I have never given this much thought but there was one which I always thought would be a great idea.

A SportKa using the second generation Ka. The original SporKa was such a laugh, only about 95bhp but big arches, bigger wheels and great handling.

Always thought how cool the second gen Ka would have been if they'd done the same, bigger wheels and arches then a 120-130bhp version of the 1.0 ecoboost engine.

It shared its base with the Fiat 500, it's odd that Ford never did anything with it. Abarth chassis with an Ecoboost would have been a giggle.

Very similar to a XFR-S, just a newer version?
