B8 S4 panoramic sunroof leak

Has anyone had any success fixing a leak through the sunroof frame? The drains are clear and I when I pull the headlining down I can see the water dripping through the frame. I've tried sealing it with various things but hasn't worked. Sadly it looks as though the previous owner knew about it as there was already some sealant there.

Local Audi indie has quoted approx £2.5k to fit a new frame. VAG Bolton say it can be fixed for around £1200 but I'm not sure what that fix entails other than it takes a few days.

Wondering if anyone else has had any luck?

If it's not the drain tubes blocked or detached then the sunroof casette is a likely cuplrit, unfortunately. I've seen a couple crack over the years.

I'm pretty certain it's the sunroof cassette sadly. I think replacing it is a sensible choice, although somewhat bank breaking.
