Paint Protection Film
Discussion
Hi All,
Just had a respray + repair to my S1 courtesy of the numpty who managed to reverse out of a 4 mile wide parking space and still drag his bumper along the length of the car - then drive off laughing (not noticing the nice chap who took his plate and left a note for me... there is a god).
Is there anywhere selling film paint protection kits for the rear arches and the like? Thinking DIY or fitted depending on cost - it looks so good now I'd like to keep it that way.

Glenn, sorry to hear you had the car t
tted but pleased that it's nice n shiny.
I had my front end done in InvictaShield (comes in multiple pieces) by Rick Kinloch [rick111s] from SELOC. Great job and much more competitively priced than Armorfend. The bonus as well is that if you get a nasty stone or scratch in it you only have to purchase and refit one part, not the entire front end.
Having spent nearly 4 hours with Rick when he fitted the kit I would personally not attempt it unless you know what you're doing. However, I'm sure he'd be pleased so supply you with a kit if you wanted to DIY it.
About £150 for the front end if I remember right.
