I know they're blatant copies of OZ Futura, and that I should be crucified for even asking, but you can't deny they look the part, and can be had in 17" for less than £600.

At that price, I'm so tempted, but despite hours of searching on the net I can't find any reviews of the things. How good or bad really are they?

Fully expecting people to tell me how cheap and nasty they are, but is there anyone out there with real experience of them who can give specific issues with them (other than the vague "cheap and nasty")?

Thanks all.

Last time I had a set of Dares was best part of 20 years ago, but I remember the polished lip lasting all of 6 months before corrosion took hold, and with all those bolts I’d wager they’d be looking pretty ropey within a year, assuming they are being used daily.

I’ve had a quick look and can’t see anything about them being TUV and / or VIA approved, so it’s a no from me.

Oh really, I did suspect that. I'm guessing your wheels were left to the elements all year?; mine would be for a fair weather car that lives in a garage and only goes out on nice weekends, so maybe I'd get more than a year out of them?

Yeah that’s a fair assumption; keep then dry and clean and they’ll probably last a while. Just make sure your garage has a low moisture level. I had mine on for all but the very worst of the winter weather so it was a death sentence for them.
