I have a CBX550f2 languishing in the garage. We once thought it would be a good bike for the GF to learn on after she was allowed to ride bigger bikes. We got it MOT'd and Taxed and a week later it made some very funny noises and then stopped. that was about 2ywears ago. I can't be arsed to do anything with it myself as I have too many other projects on the go.

What would you ask for such a wonderful piece of history?

I put a faulty car on Fleabay at £1, no reserve. Still made a couple of hundred quid despite describing the car as a non-runner.

I remember the CBX550F2 when it was launched and I used to sell them. Despite rave reviews, it never sold that well, probably due to that silly front brake.

The problem with Honda history in the motorcycle sense is that it's usually best forgotten unless you got the free "rose-tinted specs" that came with them.

Ah, how I remember the MB5 electrical failures, the CX500 engine woes, the Honda elastic cam chains, I could go on.....

Stick it on ebay and take what it makes.
