I got my new bike delivered last week. Been trying to decide what to get since I sold my Monster 1200S last year due to getting back pain every time I rode it (slipped disc). I've done a few Harley road trips in the US and never had any back issues at all, even after doing a few thousand miles in a couple of weeks. Never thought about having one over here though....don't like lots of chrome, tassels etc. I thought all the enjoyment I was getting was due to the location I was riding it in, until I rode a Sport Glide in the UK. Same grin smile Unfortunately too much chrome.

I'll be doing some trips away on the new bike, so a bit of storage and wind protection would be useful. Had a go on a Low Rider S which ticked the no chrome box, but then a Low Rider ST came up for sale for a decent price which ticked all the others. So now it's in my garage awaiting a dry day to give it a go.

I considered a Triumph Speedmaster, but dealer didn't want to give a test ride and wouldn't have a new one for sale until 2025.

I know this won't be everyone's cup of tea. It wasn't mine until now.

Will put some photos up if anyone wants.

Congrats, definitely better with more black like that. I've ridden a Harley twice, once in the US and once in the UK down to Goodwood with an experience day outfit.

Not ready for one yet but I with a bad back also I'm sure the day will come. Been to a couple of bike gatherings at their dealership at Winnersh.

Hopefully you get a chance to try in decent weather without having to wait until spring!

My old "black with not a lot of chrome" Evo FXR...
Had it twenty years, the only bike (other than my Sporty) that I've ever hung onto long term. About due for another tidy up...

Enjoy yours, I've ridden a few of the newer bikes and they are cracking rides in their own right.

Nice one!

I'm looking at a Harley for my next bike and still weighing up my options between Sportster S, Fat Bob, Low Rider S and Sport Glide.
