It's a brilliant film, probably my 2nd favourite film. I even bought myself an M65 field jacket after seeing it for the first time.Filmed around the Matlock area in Derbyshire. Love the conversation between the pair when Richard is confronted by Sonny in the street..

Still a top 5 (if not higher) movie for me. If you've ever spent time in low level drug dealers' council flat, the authenticity of the characters and dialog is absolutely on point. The lads reading the porn mag content is brilliant and probably my favorite scene. You just know that Meadows has experienced these sorts of people in his life. It's the authenticity of the dialog throughout the film that makes it for me. The documentary style film making works so well here.
