Regular viewer for many years but not feeling it this year - not sure why.

The main draw for me has always been Ant & Dec's 'cheeky' banter.

Will tune into the launch show tonight to see if that changes my mind.

Farage is going to have to do some serious work to convince me he’s not the complete **** i’m pretty sure he is.

She's not going to enjoy a reduced calorie intake.

Complete waste of space in the first challenge, unsurprisingly. What an inspiring role model for our young people. hehe Never seen this show before, but my wife insists it’s very good. Think I’ll just read a book instead.

Not a chance I'd manage the height challenge.

Here is the chance for all the Farage haters to make him do the challenges. You would have thought they would be attacking this flat out, but according to twitter, they are all boycotting the programme

Watching this with the wife and our 17yr old son. Other than Farage I don't recognise anyone, neither does the wife. So I asked my son who everyone was, and he didn't know either.

That's surprising considering a few are on mainstream TV and a member of one of the biggest boy bands.

Farage is well-known. The French bloke I recognise because I’ve watched the thing with him and Gordon Ramsey. I know who Grace Dent is as I watch MasterChef. Britney Spears’ sister is Britney Spears’ sister. I know who JLS are and loosely recognise the guy, but couldn’t tell you any more about him. My wife watched some Made in Chelsea so I’ve seen the bloke from that before too, but similar levels of familiarity to the JLS man.

The others I’ve never seen before. biggrin

Exactly. I am only watching it because of her. She has a caustic sense of humour.

The squealing YouTuber is annoying and it seems I am not the only one who thinks that.

I love how acceptable it is for the Farrage hate. The world needs characters like him I think!

You, your wife, and your 17 year old don't know who any are except Farage? I don't believe you - if that is genuinely true, then you must live (very far) abroad, or you're TV, Radio, Magazine, Internet (etc) free. That you don't know - or even recognise - the likes of Fred S, Grace D, Hollyoaks chap, JLS chap, etc is, frankly, just not credible.

There is often on PH some strange projection of a higher intelligence through claims of being ignorant of modern D-list celebrities. I don't find many of the contestants one bit interesting, but I know who most of them are. Maybe I am thick.

I must admit, I quite like them all, even Nigel, that influencer though, I can see she may get annoying! She doesn't seem much use either. It will be interesting to see how they both get on tonight!

Will be watching a day behind as 9pm is too late for Mrs UTH's 5am starts during the week, so will be watching the first episode tonight.

My initial thought is that I cannot stand Josie Gibson so I hope she doesn't do my head in so much that I have to stop watching.
