Anyone use one and what’s the most flexible for multiple countries?

I’ve used Airalo for the past three years. They have options for multiple countries.

Also use Airalo all over the world, has been fantastic.

Just make sure whichever one you use you set it up correctly to keep using your main number as the primary.

MobiMatter seems to be a broker that has multiple options including Airalo and has a rewards scheme. It just had a flash sale of 35gb Europe and USA valid for 365 days for $39.99 (normally it‘s 30gb)

Same. They’re brilliant.

Airalo for me too - had never heard of esims, so was a little wary but worked perfectly.
You can chose which sim is used for voice/data.

I used Maya mobile in the 'States and it worked perfectly.

Some of these seem really expensive for data. It still seems cheaper to use sim only and roaming rather than these services? I understand that these are perhaps somewhat convenient though.

If you are staying in one place, then do your research. I was travelling around Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand last month and Airalo worked seamlessly across each country. I realised that I needed coverage in Qatar as well, so I got a worldwide package.

First eSim for me and so much easier than faffing around to find a local SIM for each country I visited. I think that mine was around £17?

Yes, research is needed. I mostly travel Europe and the US. For Europe an O2 SIM is good as it's ~£8/month with Europe roaming and ~25GB. Airalo (for example) is vastly more expensive.

I just had a look for Asia, airolo are very expensive for 90 days, compared to my usual Japan SIM (which is also unlimited).

I'm with BT, there are no charges across Europe.

What do you use for Japan if I may ask please? May be off there soon and was wondering about getting an eSim for the trip
