3000S window frame?

Hi

My passenger side frame is broken at the front corner. Has been braced internally as a retrofit and will be again. So, workable.

But, where are they from? Mini? Suppliers?

Hi Nic. Do you mean the side screen or the front screen? I'm pretty sure the 3000S side frame is unique to TVR. I can't imagine it was used elsewhere. The front screen frame was probably also unique to TVR but the best person to confirm would be Adrian@.

Side screen. It is unique, I hear. Going to put in a corner brace.

Hi. Fixed using a corner brace as in the front upper corner, same thickness and design.

Basically the front lower corner was suffering from corrosion and was not sound.

I also used rivets between the lower channel and the door mount, I think they were originally bolted at each end and riveted.

Looks worse in the photos than in real life. Works well, 3 6BA screws.

Saved me £1000 compared to stainless steel, need some patina! Don’t want it too spangly.

Be carefull between lower channel and Door mount not to raise the height of Felt (mini) Channel. Or the Windows will be difficult to slide.
