Stopped at a bike dealer in Dorchester today just for a nosey and there amoungst all the bikes a little silver ZX6 caught my eye , my old kwack , im soo tempted to see if the chap wants to swap for the ace , had loads of good times on the 6 and i do miss the noise and flame spitting , the ace is an excellent bike but the ZX6 had bags of character , time for some seroius thinking.

Bloody funny when the bloke came up and asked if i liked the bike , i Said has it got any history , a bit he replied , want to know all of it i said ,he looked a bit gobsmacked then :hehe:

You could get another Zx6... but surely you'd want it in Green??

Good point, green ones are faster after all.

Dennis - you've been banging on about how you miss your 6R ever since you got rid of it, and how often do you REALLY need to travel above 160mph?

Not yet mate still going to pop in again on saturday , weighing the pros and cons up , at the mo my old kwack comes out on top , but i like the ace ,the brakes on the ace are in a different legue alltogether touch the front and BAM! its on its nose , the 6 took a bit more effort although nothing a good set of braided hoses wouldnt sort, the ace feels planted when pressing on even when your well into 3 figure speeds , but it lacks the zx6 fiestyness intake growl and exhust note , the 6r felt like you could grab it by the scruff of the neck and chuck it about , the ac e in comparison is like a executive car , does the same job with minium fuss , i think im missing the rawness , which is odd as the ZX6 is'nt a stripped down race bike , but its a fantastic road bike

Looks like i could be parting with some cash this weekend
