Anybody used a service like this before and is it worth it?

Keep checking various sites several times a day, BMW AUC, PH, AT, Ebay etc but still looking for an M2 with the exact spec I'm after.

Any input appreciated, if the sourcing companies aren't worth it I'll just stick to my normal routine.

What sort of spec are you looking in your M2 I might be able to help?

Have you tried the M2 U.K. forum on Facebook?

Sunset Orange

Both Packs
2NH Brakes

Yeah stuck a post up there around 3-4 weeks ago along with the sales page. Been hunting around 7 weeks now and only seen one pop up in that time but missed out on it

Remember your post actually and thought it would be this.

How about just buying the brakes yourself and selling the standard ones?

If I remember it’s for road only which in all honesty the 2NH are probably massively overkill. The standard brakes with decent pads and brake fluids are brilliant.

Car on AT is a manual.

I did think about that but never seen a set of 2NHs come up for sale. They seem pricey from BMW and need the DSC coded in also. A both pack car hasn't popped up yet that would be worth the expense of it yet imo. I had the blue ones on my old M2 and didn't rate them. Had endless pads, hel lines and srf fluid aswell..

This looks like value for a 2020 car, both packs, orange, DCT

https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202308020...

This AUC, but 45 miles over your 30K limit...

https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202310273...

This ones not AUC but has carbon

https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202311083...

All of those look like good VFM for 2020 cars.

Personally, i think a both pack car and then look at upgrading the brakes separately is going to be your way forward. I'd imagine its a well trodden path.

Damn it!

What exactly about the standard brakes don’t you rate?

Might be a cheaper way around it than £4-6K on brakes that most likely won’t be too noticeable.

Granted they are massive so look cool!

Been watching the one at Harold Wood since start of October. Price has came down from 40k to that price it is now. Makes me wonder why it hasn't sold when there have been several others sold quickly with higher prices since? Fair distance from me so couldn't exactly just pop down and view it. The one at cardiff is non genuine carbon and also had a repair to the driver seat bolster and another repair somewhere else but can't remember off the top my head.

In regards to the brakes, I just feel if I am going from an Lci to a comp then the brakes need to be better with the extra power. The blue ones are decent don't get me wrong but the extra bite you get with the silver ones is superior. Being a bigger area will shift the heat better also. They also look better.

Hopefully this is the way the market is going. The one with the 2NH kit i missed out on was around start of October, 26k miles, both packs and up for 39.5k. But it is the only one that has fit the criteria since then

Market has definitely dropped for them.

There has been a couple of 2020 AUC's, metallic paint, both packs, DCT, < 30K miles come up at £35,995 (no big brakes though so no good for you). Both snapped up very quickly. Thats cracking value.

I have no personal experience, but I saw Palmdale Motors have this year launched a tiered system to car sourcing. So from scouring ads to going and getting what you want and delivering it. Might be worth a look as you can decide how much you want to pay based on your expertise.

(I follow the CEO on Twitter as he's a bit of a petrolhead, no experience of the company).
