I have been a customer of First Direct for some twenty two years, and up to recently I have been completely satisfied for the services they have provided. However, I have become frustrated at their offering to new customers of cash incentives, and with other banks offering both interest on current accounts and cash back interest on purchases etc.

Today I spoke by telephone to First Direct about my above concerns, with their response being both negative and disinterested in customer loyalty.

I have now decided to move away from banking with First Direct, and I am seeking any recommendations for an online bank, that offers good services, interest payments on both current accounts and cash back purchases, thanks for any advice etc.
