Apparently it's okay to fk around, as you'll skip find out and simply collect bank instead.

Every comment he makes is frankly, quite disgusting.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-6754...

Any expectation of privacy whilst filming a show is fantasy and he's done extremely well to settle over psychiatric harm.

What a joke.
To be fair to him, how many other shows’ production companies broadcast their hosts’ backstage or off-camera conversations?

Clearly this was private chat not intended for any sort of consumption, leaked by persons unknown for whatever reason, and it would appear that Walliams was entirely right in his legal actions otherwise the production company would have fought the case. I don’t recall there being any mention at the time of exactly who he was talking to or what their responses were, so it isn’t unreasonable to assume that it was a targeted attack on Walliams for whatever reason. I very much doubt he’s the only TV host ever to have made unfavourable comments about contestants, anyone who thinks their smiles are all genuine and these people aren’t just as cynical as the rest of us is very much mistaken I’m sure!

Can't stand the bloke, and the comments show what he's really like.

The waxwork beside him says more offensive things every time he opens his pie hole. hehe

Apropos nothing at all; is it just me or has some trainee pasted these loons onto a random background?

The parallels between this and the Scottish teachers' leaked WhatApp opinions of their pupils and parents are pretty glaring. Maybe the quoted teachers are in for a sizeable payout too?

Exactly, he has the air of those entertainers from my childhood who are now ‘disgraced’.

Wrote a kids book, whose main character was a little boy, called Eric.

Guess what Cowell's kid is called.

Just about sums the berk up.

yes he’s always struck me as creepy. And not funny or in the slightest bit entertaining.

Can’t say I blame him for pursuing legal action though.

So, because you don't like someone, they are supposedly a 'wrong-un'.

Jesus wept.

If it was audio from the staff room recorded by the school and then 'leaked' to the press then yes.

was it really a garbage show or, an example of how far we have fallen in the ability to stand up for comedy of its type. Not much has appeared in the interim that's better.

As for Walliams, he deserves credit for his charity work.

It was the 2000’s equivalent of those 70’s comedy shows we cringe at now.

Lowest common denominator bilge for people with an IQ of <90.

If you liked it…

I never got into it but thought it was satirical, surely it was just a send up?

I hoped it was.

But the only people I knew who found it funny didn’t think it was.

And given Walliams’ other output he isn’t that subtle.
