Mercedes have lost Monster Energy sponsorship and they have gone to McLaren in a multi-year deal.

I hope the keep the ‘Lewis Hamilton’ flavour one, it’s my favourite. It may become the lando Norris flavour

I thought they sponsored him as an individual tbh rather than the team

LH is staying as a brand ambassador so expect him in some garish outfit to match a newer bespoke can for him.

Then some separate Lando/Oscar content with probably a Papaya flavour launch.

Yeah they have a separate deal with Lewis much like Tommy Hilfiger does so they'll continue to do stuff together.

Just a poor man’s Red Bull isn’t it? I’m surprised LH peddles this stuff to be honest.

It’s made by Coca-Cola, trying to be their more edgy brand by going down the Red Bull route of sponsoring extreme sports and athletes.

It's always tasted like warm Piastri to me anyway.

Red Bull has a use case, and in the right circumstance, can be quite enjoyable.

Monster Energy is vile. I wouldn expect that LH hasnt drunk a single drop of it.

Monsters strength is now (ironically) in the sugar free options which far outstrip Redbull. When they changed the flavour of the Hamilton one it went Sugar Free as well.

The problem with Monster is they make it so damn hard to work out what the flavour is. For example, the Assault one is Coke but nowhere on the can does it even hint that it's a Coca Cola copy,

That's also part of what gets people buying the different flavours though, to find out what they are.

A lot of the Monster Ultras are bloody lovely. LHs purple one is pretty minging imo but I know others like it. Hopefully Lando gets a better flavour.

Red Bull is pretty nasty, I've never understood how it is as popular as it is.

Because immense numbers of the general public are dumb and will buy whatever is rammed into their face every few minutes, remember a few years ago 4 million a DAY PAID for the Sun

Is it made by Coca Cola? Its not owned by Coca Cola. They own part of it, but dont have anything like a controlling interest.

The Aussie Lemonade flavour's a good one and you can always rely on the Valentino Rossi special to turn your piss highlighter-yellow.

Are they a main sponsor for McLaren? The liveries could look decent.

No it is not a major deal and will give them a patch on the overalls and drivers helmets. Under $6 million a year plus activation fees.
