As it is the first of December, I am resolving to watch an advent calendars worth of Christmas films. Frankly, the cheesier the better. hehe

I am starting with The Holiday tonight. Kate Winslet at her sweetest I think.

The list will of course include Die Hard and finish with Muppet Christmas Carol, my favourite Christmas film.

I need 21 others. Any suggestions?

Ooh, great film. Athough as a member of the bewb owning sex, I can appreciate that the pair to which you refer are very competent, however it's not the main reason I like the film. hehe

Trains, planes and Automobiles...

...got to have a John Candy / John Hughes film - and they were technically trying to make it home for Christmas.

Always think of Uncle Buck - but that was just snowy - not xmas

Daddy's Home 2. Much better than the first and proper laugh out loud bits.

Don't forget Die Hard 2 and 3, also set at Christmas.

Love Actually

On Her Majesties Secret Service.

Also I know its not remotely Christmas related in anyway but one of my traditions to watch at Xmas time is Casablanca. Mix myself a couple of Martinis and enjoy one of the best films ever made

You could try some irreverent comedy specials...
Blackadders Christmas Carol
Bottom - Holy
Curb Your Enthusiasm - Mary, Joe and Larry.

A Christmas Carol - I thought the Patrick Stewart version was pretty, pretty, pretty good

More recently Click & Collect is pretty good, Stephen Merchant comedy. And only about an hour long.

Thank you for the suggestions. Keep them coming as there are a few on there that I may not be totally up for. I regard movies as light entertainment and I am not sure something like Brazil is in that category. hehe
I also love Die Hard with a Vengeance but I don't think it counts as a Christmas film.
