Anybody watching this one? Irish drama revolving round a feud between 2 crime families, it's really good so far although it's a bit of a struggle to work out the relationships between the main family members.

Is it called Kin in any reference to Kinahan ? I had seen it advertised and like the actor who plays little finger in GOT and Carcetti in the wire. Will try and give it a watch.

’kin ste. Charlie Cox, who plays the part of Michael Kinsella is the stand out actor in what is a completely forgettable series. Aidan Gillen plays the same character in every single role that he’s ever cast in i.e. he mumbles out of the side of his mouth and you never really know why he’s there or what role he is meant to play.
Amanda Kinsella, married to one of the cardboard gangster Kinsella brothers, for the life of my I can’t remember which one, is so wooden that she probably uses Ronseal instead of make up. Eric ‘The Viking’, Jesus wept he wouldnt last five minutes in Dublin never mind Mountjoy. I could go on but it’s just awful. Moody scenes of Dublin used over and over again interspersed with terrible acting. Love/Hate it isn’t.

I can’t wait for Season 3.

I presumed it was called Kin as in next of kin given it revolves around family.

Enjoyed it too, just waiting for the 2nd series to make an appearance on iPlayer as it's only available on RTE, unless anyone knows how I can access that?

Vpn to Ireland should be OK I think.

Or it is extremely likely on the usual sites...

I've just started episode 3 but struggling. It's so slow. There are so many minutes of blurry/arty shots of a car driving. It's extremely slow and wish it would speed up.

About 4 episodes into Series 1. Entertaining but plot is rather weak and Frank is a bit of a wet blanket for a drug kingpin

I enjoyed it but I am at a loss to understand how the Kinsellas, a bunch of coked up halfwits and hotheads, managed to build a crime family in the first place. Amanda is the only one with any brains at all, and she married into the family. How they got anything done before her arrival is a mystery.

He reminds me of the late Paul O'Grady, but with less menace.

It all got a bit Godfather 2 at the end. Coppola and Puzo should be suing for plagiarism

Presumably built by Bren originally then feebly held together by Frank when Bren went to prison.

Also i dont think drug dealing constitutes being a crime family in the mafia sense of the phrase.

I wish i'd had this when we started watching it.

Took me about 4 episodes to work it all out in my head.
