What a distressing story, hopefully Nihal can overcome his mental health problems, I daresay the £150K
he gets from the BBC helps him deal with the horror of few people in his office looking like him.
I had this problem too, so I wholly commiserate with him.

Interesting point. Slightly linked to this.

I listen to 5 live in the morning, and have noticed an odd direction for a small part of their early morning football coverage. In a mid week fixture list they often have a small few minute section at about 6.30am where they select someone to talk about the previous days game. I have been listening to this every day now for about 2 months and every single time they choose someone to talk to it has always been a woman fan, never a man.

Is that really representative?

As an aside I like this presenter and i would I would imagine he has been scapegoated into this by the BBC, in full knowledge it will not affect his position in the company at all.

Yep, how long would a white 5 Live presenter last at the BBC saying that
the black faces in his office affect his mental health ?

Arthanayake is a racist and a bigot, the BBC should sack him.

That site also says 16 per cent of BBC employees are Hispanic and they vote for the democrats. It's an American site and probably reflects the BBC's worldwide employees.
