Looks like more of the same as the previous film which IMO is in no way a bad thing. I've actually really enjoyed all the Monsterverse films and GvK was a great spectacle and loads of fun. The only thing I'm hesitant of is if all of this is set in the "world underneath" (I forget if it has a name) and not above ground, it might lose the sense of scale. Looks like the exact opposite of Minue One which at least gives fans options. I do have questions/thoughts though:
- Why is big G glowing pink now (is he in his Barbie era?)
- I do love that they've been slowly aging Kong since the first film, although I hope he's now in his "Silverback" phase and they're not trying to say he's old. Don't apes live a similar sort of length of time as humans, meaning he shouldn't be the Danny Glover in Lethal Weapon of the franchise already
- They've given away a lot in the trailer already, I hope they're keeping some surprises back

It says Sam Neill, it doesn't say Jurassic Park, it doesn't say he's playing Alan Grant. The gif was a joke, because the character is a thing he's known for.
