Pinking or slight manifold leak

I thought my 5 litre was pinking slightly. However, I noticed in the service history (last service, before I bought the car), under the section of "Will need attention", a 'slight manifold leak' was highlighted.

Could it be that my car isn't pinking, but its the manifolds?

What are the signs?

Sounds like the manifolds if it was highlighted at the last service...

Pinking is very heavily throttle dependant and will rarely happen at less than full throttle. It will also get worse on lower octane fuel and in hotter weather.

A blown manifold has a similar harsh metallic sound but will occur at all revs and throttle openings (getting loud with throttle), and doesn't depend on fuel or weather.

my 5lt has always pinked from new, i have reported it at each service and most recently at TVR power where it was declared as fixed but it is no different. It does and always has done about 500miles to the pint of oil (dosn't smoke) and I am told this will make it pink. I am also told that if i get an adjustable fuel presure regulator i can increase the fuel pressure to enrich the mixture. Just spent over £1000 having an exhaust mainfold bolt replaced to fix a manifold leak, i think it is still leaking
