Has any Rapide S owner found a good front plate mount?

Seeing as part of the the redesign from Rapide to Rapide S was going for a single grill it seems a shame that it's partially obscured by a massive plate carrier.

I've never been one for private plates but thinking it makes sense in order to get a smaller plate on the front.

I saw someone else on here used plasterboard fittings to mount a front plate and it looked much better.

Another idea I had was a number plate vinyl sticker and putting it on the front left bumper Mitsubishi Evo style. Bit naff?

Any other ideas? Thanks.

Not sure that's legal now; I think it depends on the age of the car.

I have just looked at photos and cannot think of a solution.
With the VH Vantages it is easy. Remove the original plinth, then use sticky pads to attach the number plate below the grille.

I noticed a Rapide S with the number plate fixed a little lower down than usual. Do you think that is better?

The higher number plate looks better to my eyes but I can't help with fixings as not familiar with the model

Thanks everyone. I think I'll keep with a legal plate, that's as small as possible. That V12 GXR plate does look a bit better mounted lower but it's still waaaaay too wide.
