Need to flush the heater core on a mk7 golf, but when I looked at the hose to remove it had this ‘ring’ like clip on it. I was expecting the usual hose clamp where you squeeze with pliers to remove.

Any idea how to get these ones off? Hopefully that is the right hose!!!

You don't. It's not a clip, it's a tension band that is there to permanently hold the hose to that T-piece. That T is meant to come with the hose that has the band on it. You can see the spring-band clamp on the other arms of the T that come off.

Thank you, I wonder if I’m looking at the right hoses for the heater matrix?

On other forums people have said there are 2 pipes that get disconnected and you feed a hose pipe in to flush, but all the videos I’ve seen all have normal hose clips?
