Not an outstanding show .
Low points ,
Bradley Walsh and his monologue regarding getting a gong ,or not !
The BGT winner , what was that all about ?
Paloma Faith , apart from waiting for a wardrobe malfunction , why not just stand and lip sync (as she was doing anyway ) instead of crawling around the stage then climbing up a bus shelter
Tom Allen , The first thing I said to Mrs ,how long before he will tell everyone he is gay , took about a minute , from then what ever he was saying was totally garbled , ok so I have slow ears , so she had to interpret for me ,
Even the Disney montage was a bit of a mishmash
Cher , the same lip syncing as on Strictly ,switched off and went to bed about 2 mins in to her performance
High points ( well better )
Lang Lang and Lucy
Mc Fly
Rick Astley
Plus a few others , who’s names I can’t recall which is an indication of the general quality of the show

That Bradley Walsh bit about getting a gong was very weird, I sort of got the small joke that was behind it but he turned a one line quip into a monologue and just came across as a deeply unlikeable person.

Tom Allen was always going to be Tom Allen, just my opinion but it was never going to appeal to the masses (putting it politely).

The BGT thing-I didn't realise he won! I've seen the original sketch he did on TikTok-I thought it was genuinely hilarious as a one off but I suppose the judges must have thought "where does he go next from this?" We got the answer tonight.

Tom Allen is ghastly.

Not sure why Bradley got such a roasting- I thought he was ok.

Darren Brown's thing was weak.

Disney montage was great and the comedian was brilliant. Generally, enjoyable I thought

Imagine doing a big section of your set about not getting a gong, then looking up and seeing Prince William, who, if i am correct can't ever give out a gong?
It would of made more sense if King Charles was there surely.....

And anyway looking at who get a gong these days, or any day, who even ants one?
